Public transport - Schleswig-Holstein gets the Deutschland-Schulticket

For students at comprehensive and private schools as well as trainees in a purely educational training in Schleswig-Holstein, the "Deutschland-Schulticket" comes at the turn of the year. According to statements by Traffic-State Secretary Tobias von der Heide (CDU), Sönke Schulz from the Landtag and Marc Ziertmann from the City Council, it is a discounted Germany ticket.

The conditions of the Germany ticket apply, as they announced. The ticket is therefore available as a subscription, not transferable, and valid in long-distance and regional transport in whole Germany.

The subsidy for the "Deutschland-Schulticket" comes from the district or the district-free city of residence. The height of the subsidy of at least 20 Euro is set by the district or the district-free city itself. There should already be a transitional solution in place after the summer holidays.

Students in Schleswig-Holstein who attend comprehensive or private schools, as well as trainees in a solely educational training, can benefit from the discounted Germany ticket, known as the "Deutschland-Schulticket." This ticket, which is valid in both long-distance and regional transport throughout Germany, can be availed as a subscription and is not transferable. Despite being a subsidized ticket, its exact amount varies depending on the district or district-free city of residence in Germany.
