2nd league - Schalke sign central defender Sanchez

FC Schalke 04 has perfectly completed another transfer for the upcoming season in the 2. Football-Bundesliga. Felipe Sanchez is switching from Argentinean first division team Gimnasia y Esgrima La Plata and will receive a contract until 30. June 2028. The transfer fee for the 20-year-old central defender is reportedly around 800,000 Euros plus bonus payments.

Sanchez is the tenth new signing for the Schalke team, which has traveled to the one-week training camp in Mittersill, Austria, on Monday.

FC Schalke 04's acquisition of Felipe Sanchez from Gimnasia y Esgrima La Plata in Argentina marks their latest move in the Soccer Bundesliga. The defender will join Schalke in Gelsenkirchen, located in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. Sanchez's signing follows a series of transfers made by the club in preparation for the new season, with Schalke currently competing in Bundesliga 2. The fee for the 20-year-old player is estimated to be around 800,000 Euros, plus additional bonus payments.
