Coburg - Samba-Festival will celebrate "Life, Love, Diversity"

Samba-Stars from Brazil, Dance Groups - and many Guests: In Coburg, the Samba Festival is rising again at the weekend. It is officially supposed to start on Friday evening, and the organizers are counting on about 200,000 female visitors and male visitors. 3000 Female Artists and Males Artists from all over the world will perform in the Inner City - with Music, Dance and Shows. "Let's celebrate life, love and diversity", wrote Event Chief Rolf Beyersdorf beforehand in the program brochure.

Specially for the Samba Scene, the Coburg Festival offers Workshops and Competitions. Since 1992, the Festival has been taking place in Coburg in July. Interruptions only occurred in 2020 and 2021 due to the Corona Pandemic.

  5. More than 3000 female artists and male artists from around the world will be showcasing their talents during the workshops and competitions organized specifically for the Samba Scene.
  6. The Coburg Festival, a beloved fixture in the city since 1992, has managed to persist and thrive despite temporary interruptions during the Corona Pandemic.
