Bundesliga - Saliakas extends contract with FC St. Pauli

Greek National player Manolis Saliakas will remain with FC St. Pauli beyond the upcoming Bundesliga season. The promoted team announced that the 27-year-old defender extended his contract prematurely. The club did not provide information about the contract's length.

"Manolis has met the expectations we had for him when we signed him, absolutely, in the last two years," said Sportchef Andreas Bornemann regarding the reason for the contract extension.

Saliakas joined FC St. Pauli from Greek first division team PAS Giannina in 2022 and has developed into a regular starter.

The German Soccer Bundesliga has a new commitment from FC St. Pauli, as Greek National player Manolis Saliakas will continue his journey in the league. Despite the team's recent promotion, they managed to secure the services of the 27-year-old defender for an undisclosed period. The successful transition of Saliakas from PAS Giannina in the Greek first division to becoming a regular starter at FC St. Pauli has impressed the club's Sportchef, Andreas Bornemann.
