Drone War - Russia reports 80 Ukrainian drone attacks and damages

In Russia, the air defense system, according to the Defense Ministry's statements, repelled dozens of drone attacks from Ukraine again. A total of 80 drones were intercepted and destroyed in six regions, the Ministry in Moscow reported. In Tuapse on the Black Sea, there were several explosions, as eyewitnesses reported in social media. A large fire broke out in an oil processing plant of the energy company Rosneft in Tuapse – according to official reports, caused by the debris of a shot-down drone.

There were no injured reported by the authorities. Ukrainian media reported on the fire in Tuapse as a success of the Kiev Military Intelligence Service. The oil plant with a port and access to the sea is also important for the supply of Russian troops in the offensive war against Ukraine. The facility had already been targeted by Ukrainian attacks in the past. The fire, which broke out early in the morning, was extinguished, the authorities in Tuapse reported.

According to Russian reports, there were 47 drone attacks alone on the territory of Rostov. Flug objects were also intercepted over the Black Sea and the Azov Sea near the annexed Russian peninsula of Crimea.

Ukraine shells Russian targets daily in the neighboring country's hinterland to stop the military supply. With Western help, the country, which has been resisting the Russian offensive war for more than two years, has significantly expanded its own production of drones.

The damages and consequences are in no way proportional to the extensive destruction and the number of casualties caused by the Russian attacks with rockets and drones on Ukraine.
