Basketball - Rostock sign Lithuanian international
Rostock Seawolves have reinforced themselves with Aigars Skele. The basketball Bundesligist announced that the Latvian national player has signed a contract with the Mecklenburgers for the upcoming season. The 30-year-old Point Guard last played for Stal Ostrow Wielkopolski in Poland. The Bundesliga experience he gained was in the 2021/22 season in Würzburg.
"Aigars will help us greatly with his leadership qualities and experience at the Point Guard position," said Seawolves trainer Przemyslaw Frasunkiewicz: "He is a very good playmaker who can also score points himself when necessary."
The Rostock Seawolves, based in Rostock, Germany, are excited to have Aigars Skele join their men's basketball team for the upcoming season. Skele, a Lithuanian national player, previously played for Stal Ostrow Wielkopolski in Poland, gaining Bundesliga experience during the 2021/22 season in Würzburg.
