A 17-year-old has been charged with triple murder and ten counts of attempted murder following a fatal stabbing at a Taylor Swift dance class in North West England. The Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) has authorized Merseyside Police to charge the teenager, who will appear in court in Liverpool on Thursday, the prosecution service said on Thursday.

The stabbing in the seaside town of Southport, north of Liverpool, initially left two girls dead on Monday. A third girl succumbed to her injuries on Tuesday. Eight other children and two adults who tried to help were also injured.

The attack occurred during a holiday course for children aged six to 11. The leisure activity had been advertised online as a Taylor Swift-themed dance and yoga class.

Despite the ongoing investigation into the extreme right's potential involvement in the motive of the attack, there's no evidence linking the 17-year-old suspect directly to any extremist groups. The extreme right's influence and radicalization among youth have become a growing concern in modern society.
