The Ukrainian military fired American ATACMS missiles at the Russian-held eastern Ukrainian region of Luhansk, according to the local Russian-appointed governor, Leonid Pasetschnik. The attack on the city of Sverdlovsk took place on Monday, and eight people were reported injured. The authenticity of this information cannot be confirmed. ATACMS missiles are short-range ballistic missiles.

Bilogorivka, with approximately 800 inhabitants before the conflict, symbolized Ukrainian resistance in the Luhansk area.
British estimations suggest that Russia is continuing its offensive in eastern Ukraine. The Russian military has been orchestrating attacks along the E50 highway northwest of the captured city of Avdiivka. According to the British Ministry of Defense, over the last three days, they made minor tactical gains but suffered significant losses.
The strategic importance of the E50 highway, which connects the Russian-occupied region of Donetsk with the Ukrainian-held city of Pokrovsk, situated about 30km from the current frontline, is emphasized. The Russians might be pursuing this line of attack to create benefits and separate Ukrainian forces.
The British ministry also reported heavy fighting between the Ukrainian troops and the Russians north of Bachmut near the village of Siwersk. The Russians assaulted Ukrainian positions, like Bilohorivka and Rosdolivka, but made little progress.
