- Renowned Intelligence Agent Hvaldimir Discovered Deceased in Norway
H Vlad the renowned marine mammal, famously recognized across the globe, initially surfaced in 2019 off the Norwegian coast, sporting an uncommon harness. This beluga whale bore a tag labeled "Gear from St. Petersburg," causing rumors to swirl that he was a Russian intelligence whale. The Russian navy has a history of training small cetaceans.
Moniker with Putin connections
Although conclusive evidence never emerged, the whale was subsequently named H Vlad, a concoction of the Norwegian word for whale and Putin's given name. The sad news of H Vlad's demise reached us from Rogaland, southern Norway, as shared by researcher Sebastian Strand, who had been tracking the whale for some time.
"Regrettably, he was discovered deceased today," Strand advised NRK TV. "There are no serious wounds, but further examination is necessary." Fredrik Skarbøvik, maritime coordinator at the Stavanger harbor, also confirmed the whale's passing. The carcass was transported to a waiting truck.
H Vlad enjoyed human interaction
NRK reported that the deceased whale was discovered on Saturday in the Risavika bay in southern Norway by a father-son duo, angling for their catch. No apparent external injuries were noticed.
The aquatic 007 endeared himself to the Norwegian populace with his ample friendliness and appreciation for human interaction. Responding to calls and frolicking in the water were among his fondest activities. Massaging his blowhole even brought him pleasure! His renown escalated when he retrieved a misplaced mobile phone from the seabed for a fan.
"He was incredibly adapted to human society," Strand explained. "It appears he spent a substantial portion of his life in captivity." Speculations suggest that H Vlad may have been a therapy whale from a Russian facility that somehow ended up in Norway.
H Vlad's health decline
Sadly, H Vlad's health began to decline in his new environment, and he began to lose weight. Various relocation plans were underway, but before they could be implemented, he passed away unexpectedly. "It's just devastating," Strand lamented on television. "He seemed in good health on Friday, so we need to probe the cause of this sudden decline."
"I'm heartbroken," Strand added. "He delighted the hearts of countless individuals in Norway."
Despite the espionage rumors, there was no substantiated proof to support the notion that H Vlad was involved in intelligence activities. However, his fondness for human interaction and unique skills, such as retrieving a mobile phone from the seabed, fueled the speculation.
