More information about Noa Argamani's kidnapping ordeal has surfaced since her release from the Gaza Strip by the Israelis. Israeli news site ynet reported that the young woman was shifted from one house to another after her abduction during the Nova Music Festival on October 7. She along with three other hostages were rescued through a thrilling military operation conducted on Saturday. The military claimed fierce conflicts with armed Palestinians.

As per the Hamas-controlled health authority, 274 Palestinians lost their lives. Argamani was allegedly kept with two male hostages, who reportedly met their end. One of them is purportedly killed in an Israeli strike and the other at the hands of her captors.

Argamani described to her family, as mentioned in ynet, how she witnessed a rocket hit a house and felt terrified for her safety. Argamani's mother's critical condition

Argamani, once she was freed from a Palestinian civilian's home in Nuseirat refugee camp, frequently needed to cook and clean dishes for the family, as stated by ynet. Post her release, Argamani has been dedicated in taking care of her mother in the hospital. Her mother, hailing from China, has terminal cancer. She's longed to see her daughter for months now.

On Sunday, Argamani spent two uninterrupted hours losing herself in her mother's arms in the treatment room. Her aunts also flew all the way from China to meet her. The father revealed that during their first meeting on Saturday, the mother was visibly overwhelmed by seeing her daughter and could barely respond due to her frail health. She has a magnitude-four brain tumor. "I reckon she comprehended Noa's liberation," the father said. "She wasn't able to express what she wished to convey to her for eight months."
