Second league promoter Jahn Regensburg failed to go beyond a draw in a test match against the amateur team of SC Eltersdorf.
At the end of the training camp in Bad Goegging, the Upper Palatinates played a 2:2 (2:1) against the Bayernligist. Dominik Kother (5th minute) and Sebastian Ernst (37th minute) scored for the favorite, who conceded an equalizer from Alexander Beusch (42nd minute) just before the end.
In the upcoming Second Bundesliga season, Jahn Regensburg will look to build on their draw against SC Eltersdorf during their test games. Despite being in Bavaria, Regensburg faced tough competition during these soccer trials. The team from Regensburg will also participate in a test game against the Second Bundesliga side, FC Hansa Rostock, to further prepare for the upcoming season.
