Predicted weather. - Rain and thunderstorms expected in the near future.

Fierce rain and inundation are creating difficulties in the lower region of the nation. "There's still an impending threat of solid downpours in regions affected by floods in the southern zones of the country going into the upcoming week," stated meteorologist Sebastian Altnau from the German Weather Service (DWD) in Offenbach.

Tuesday will witness fluctuating weather conditions, with the middle and southern regions anticipated to have a mixture of sunshine and clouds. Within the northern and northwestern parts of the country, numerous clouds, limited rains, or light showers might occur, accompanied by the possibility of intermittent thunderstorms. Temperatures will reach 18 to 24 degrees.

Despite the above, Tuesday night will bring constant rain. Temperatures will fall to 8 to 14 degrees. On Wednesday, cloudy skies and precipitation with occasional thunderstorms will start migrating from the northwest and north, covering the central part of the country. In the south, the sky will clear up, but sporadic showers or thunderstorms might manifest within the Alps during the day. Temperatures will range from 20 to 25 degrees, while the northwest will stay slightly cooler at 15 to 20 degrees.

Wednesday night will reveal minimal cloud coverage, and it will be dry. Minimum temperatures will lie between 6 to 13 degrees. To sum up, Thursday and Friday's forecast appears comparable. In the midst of the country's middle and south, the day will alternately show sunshine and loose clouds. Dry weather prevails in Northern areas. The southern part of the Alps, however, may experience irregular, possibly stronger showers and thunderstorms.
