The federal prosecutor's office has charged the nine defendants in the trial against the alleged "Reichsbürger" group around Prince Reuß with, among other things, membership of a terrorist organization.

Zealotry - Proceeding trials against the "Reichsbürger" terrorist organization endure.

Today, the trial against a group of "Reichsbürger" suspected terrorists is underway at the Frankfurt Oberlandesgericht, and is hearing from witnesses as law enforcement officials, including Heinrich XIII. Prince Reuß, a businessman from Frankfurt. He is accused of being the mastermind behind the group.

Simultaneously, authorities are still investigating the group, conducting a raid against alleged supporters in Baden-Württemberg, Saxony, and Schleswig-Holstein. Nine individuals are accused of being members of a terrorist group or supporting it in Frankfurt.

According to the indictment, the group was allegedly planning a coup, with the defendants knowingly accepting causalities. They had already started developing structures for their own state order, with Reuß being considered as the head of state.

In Stuttgart, the trial of the supposed military arm of the group is also underway. Starting from June 18th, a trial against purported members of the group will begin in Munich.

Yesterday, a massive police operation searched seven locations and three plots in Baden-Württemberg, Saxony, and Schleswig-Holstein. A spokesperson for the Federal Prosecutor's Office confirmed the news. The "Spiegel" had earlier reported that the accused had repeatedly talked about large weapon caches that had still not been found. The raids are reported to be focused on two suspects from Baden-Württemberg. There were no immediate arrests made.

It's worth noting that, during the searches in Bad Teinach-Zavelstein and Althengstett (both in the Calw district), police uncovered some intriguing details in the investigation. However, it's not anticipated that the Federal Prosecutor's Office will reveal any specifics about this.

The investigation includes over 700 police officers from the Federal Criminal Police Office, the Federal Police, and the state police of Baden-Württemberg, Bavaria, Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt, and Schleswig-Holstein. The "Reichsbürger" in Germany claim that Germany's historical Reich (1871-1945) is still in place. They do not accept the Federal Republic and its laws.

At the Frankfurt Oberlandesgericht, the trial's focus shifted to the personal relationships of the accused ringleader, Reuß. Topics such as his business interests, online presence, clubs, his car collection, financial situation, accounts, and houses were the subjects of discussion.

The defense has repeatedly denied the accusations from the prosecution. Reuß himself intends to speak during the trial. His lawyer, Roman von Alvensleben, noted that "it's his inner need to explain why violence could never be a goal in his life". The exact date of his statement is yet to be determined.
