The 50-year-old woman from Diesdorf, Altmarkkreis Salzwedel, was driving towards Wittingen in Niedersachsen and for unknown reasons veered onto the left side of the road, according to the police. At the scene, she collided with a parked vehicle.

The impact caused damage to the middle five-figure Euro range, it was stated. The woman was the cause of the accident and continued driving with her vehicle's warning flashers on. A loud grinding noise was heard during this time. The officers secured her driver's license. Now she must answer for this in a legal proceeding for hit-and-run.
