Around 11:15 am, a report of an explosive device in the bank branch reached the police, stated a spokesperson. The area around the bank was cordoned off by officers for cars and pedestrians during the search. On platform X, the police warned the public of a threat in that area.

The bomb threat occurred in the heart of Brunswick, prompting a large-scale operation by the local police force. The bank, situated in Lower Saxony, was identified as the potential location of the explosive device. Amidst the intense search, the police urged the public to avoid platform X due to an imminent emergency.
