Fight against drugs - Police search 14 properties, mainly in Dithmarschen

Approximately 250 enforcement personnel carried out searches in connection with investigations into narcotics trading along the West coast of Schleswig-Holstein. Three arrest warrants were executed, another one was initially checked by the police, as stated by the police. The four suspects are reportedly men from the Dithmarschen region, aged between 25 and 30. Initially, it was reported that 13 objects were affected.

During the searches with a focus on Dithmarschen, law enforcement secured amphetamines, Ecstasy, and cannabis in significant quantities, as well as a cash amount in the lower five-figure range and communication devices. In the residence of a suspect, police discovered a flak munition. It was secured by the explosive disposal team. One of the suspects resisted arrest, according to the police. He sustained minor injuries but remained detained.

The investigators drew a positive conclusion from the end of the operation: "Structures of organized narcotics trading along the West coast could be clarified."

The operation against narcotics trading in Schleswig-Holstein involved an operational force from Itzehoe, focusing on the Dithmarschen region. The seizures included large quantities of amphetamines, Ecstasy, and cannabis, as well as a substantial cash amount and communication devices. The operational force also found a live flak munition in one of the suspects' residences, which was safely handled by the explosive disposal team.
