Police operation on Swabian Alb - several dead

In Albstadt, Baden-Württemberg, the police are in large-scale operation. A family dispute is said to have led to a bloodbath. The police have confirmed three deaths. The alleged perpetrator is reportedly a hunter, according to a report.

In Albstadt, on the Swabian Alb, there is a large-scale operation in a residential area. The police have confirmed an incident with three fatalities. According to "Bild" newspaper, the alleged perpetrator is a hunter. The "Südwest Presse" reports, according to information from the editorial office, that a man killed three family members and himself. That would be four deaths. It is reported that a firearm was used. Two other people were also reportedly injured by gunshots.

A police spokeswoman stated that this was not an rampage. The investigators therefore apparently go rather for an intrafamilial crime. The police have cordoned off the scene extensively. According to eyewitnesses, there are 30 to 40 patrol cars of the police, police special forces, and dozens of rescue services on site. Police officers are reportedly wearing helmets and vests. Several helicopters from the police and rescue services were circling over the area. "We have a police operational situation," said a spokesman for the crisis center at the Interior Ministry of Baden-Württemberg. Currently, there is no danger. The spokesman did not provide further details.

The police operation site, according to "Südwest-Presse," is near the Badkap. However, the police presence has nothing to do with the leisure bath, according to the police. The guests were therefore asked not to worry.

The incident in Albstadt, Baden-Württemberg, has garnered international attention due to its tragic nature. Furthermore, the allegations of criminality in this case involve family dynamics.
