Unofficially, the police are probing into two men linked to the mother of the slain Valeriia. A news article hints at a former romantic partner and a known stalker as targets of investigation.
Recently, nine-year-old Valeriia was brutally murdered in Saxony-Anhalt. The official updates demand patience as no suspects have been apprehended. The Prosecutor's Office divulged that they're zooming in on the social setting of the deceased girl.
However, the German Bild newspaper has revealed significant details about the police's key suspects. The first is the ex-boyfriend of Valeriia's mother. Though he resides in the Czech Republic, the German police are yet to locate him. Reports claim that he communicated with the mother on the day their daughter vanished. Their relationship was strained previously and there are allegations of his presence at a nearby surveillance camera in Döbeln and a cellphone signal traced back to the cell tower nearby.
The second persona is reportedly a stalker that was recently reported to the police by the mother. Complaints of harassment and threats were made, and the police paid him a visit at his home. However, the Prosecutor's Office have not commented on this matter.

They had not heeded the legal obligation to contact the girl's mother when she failed to show in class. In the works is a report from the State Office for Education and Culture, which will determine the extent of possible misconduct and potential legal repercussions. A preliminary suspicion of wrongdoings could arise if the school is found to have breached child protection and supervision. The Education Office has confirmed this negligence and is currently deliberating over its consequences.
