In the apartment of a 39-year-old in Meerane, in the Landkreis Zwickau, the Police found amongst other things, revolvers, air rifles, and various drugs. He could not produce the necessary permits for all the weapons - and he should not have had telescopic batons, brass knuckles, a switchblade knife, and a nunchaku in his apartment, according to the police. Additionally, a saber and machetes were found.

The police received a tip that the 39-year-old had several weapons in his apartment. During the search on Monday, law enforcement officers also discovered 70 grams of Crystal, 65 grams of Marijuana, Ecstasy, and a small amount of Cocaine.

Moreover, three electric scooters and several bicycle parts worth 15,000 Euro were found. According to the information provided, a frame could be traced back to a stolen E-Bike in Lower Saxony. It is unclear how the man came into possession of the frame. The investigation is ongoing.

  2. The shocking discovery of prohibited weapons, including a switchblade knife and a nunchaku, in addition to drugs like Crystal and Marijuana, has sparked concerns about criminality in the region of Saxony.
  3. In the same apartment, where illegal weapons and drugs were seized, an Air Rifle was also found, further adding to the list of weapons unregistered or unlawfully possessed by the 39-year-old resident.
  4. The police in Zwickau have been investigating the source of other weapons such as the saber and machetes, along with the stolen E-Bike frame found in the suspect's possession, aiming to crack down on the spreading issue of criminal activity in the District of Zwickau.
