Police confiscate cocaine valued in billions.

German authorities claim to have staged the biggest bust against the cocaine trade in the country. Searches were carried out in seven states across the country which led to the seizure of multiple tons of the drug. Seven individuals were detained.

According to the Stuttgart Customs Investigation Office and Düsseldorf Public Prosecutor's Office, "a significant amount of cocaine, worth billions of euros, was taken off the streets."

The raids took place in Bonn, Cologne, Leverkusen, Rhein-Sieg-District and Wachtberg in North Rhine-Westphalia, Munich in Bavaria, Berlin, Hamburg, Märkisch-Oderland in Brandenburg, Heidekreis in Niedersachsen, and Frankfurt am Main in Hesse.

Further details of the case will be disclosed by the authorities on Monday in Düsseldorf.
