Police Conducts Fresh Raid on Prince Reuß-Linked "Reichsbürger" Collective

Several individuals linked to the "Reichsbürger" group, which includes Prince Reuß, are being tried in court. The Federal Prosecutor's Office is now targeting their supporters through a sweeping police operation.

Recently, the Federal Prosecutor's Office conducted a substantial operation, raiding seven sites and three properties across Baden-Württemberg, Saxony, and Schleswig-Holstein since early Tuesday morning. One of these locations included a magnificent mansion in Mittelsachsen, as well as some bunker facilities and a retired military training ground, as per reports from "Spiegel."

As the spokesperson for General Prosecutor Jens Rommel stated to "Spiegel", two individuals believed to be supporters of the group have been targeted by search warrants. No arrests have been made.

The pair in question are an elderly 73-year-old and a 63-year-old living in Baden-Württemberg. They are accused of offering the group space for recruiting new members.

It is speculated that the 73-year-old, who is the target of the investigation, possesses a substantial collection of firearms. This is likely the reason for the stringent security measures accompanying the searches, which involve numerous special forces teams from several states and the Explosive Ordnance Disposal Service. The operation is aiming to uncover any hidden weapon storage facilities.

Furthermore, the General Public Prosecutor's Office in Dresden carried out multiple raids early on Tuesday morning as well, according to information from "Spiegel". The prosecutor's office representative would not divulge additional details regarding these measures, which are also related to the ongoing Prince Reuß investigation. The searches occurred in the Saxon communities of Seiffen and Pockau-Lengefeld.
