"Reichsbürger" circle - Police conduct another search in Prince Reuss' circle, looking for weapon storage facilities.
Federal investigators are carrying out a series of raids against individuals linked to "Reichsbuerger" ideologue Prince Heinrich XIII Reuss. According to a statement from the Federal Prosecutor's Office to DPA, searches have been ongoing in multiple states since early morning. The news was initially reported by Spiegel.
The prosecutors claim that Reuss, known for his controversial fringe political ideas, was involved in treasonous plots. They believe his alleged terrorist group had been planning to establish military forces to overthrow the German government.
Earlier this year, a trial began in Frankfurt against a group of "Reichsbuerger" members. Prosecutors allege that nine people were either a part of the terrorist organization or supported it, with Reuss allegedly taking on a leading role.
