Police: 13-year-old throws stones from bridge at vehicles

Criminality - Police: 13-year-old throws stones from bridge at vehicles

Multiple moving cars were damaged in the Schaumburg district due to stone throwing. A 13-year-old from the Gütersloh district is suspected of throwing stones from a bridge in Lindhorst onto the roadway, according to the police. The officers were alerted on Saturday evening and encountered a group of juveniles on the bridge. Witnesses identified the 13-year-old as the perpetrator. Two cars sustained damages, including dents and scratches, with an estimated damage of approximately 4,000 Euros. An investigation was initiated for dangerous interference with road traffic. The juvenile, who is not yet of legal age, was handed over to his relatives after clarification of the situation according to the police.
