- Poland records potential infringement in Russian airspace boundaries.
In relation to Russian hostilities towards Ukraine, an indeterminate "aircraft" penetrated Polish territory and was spotted by Polish radar systems. This was disclosed by Generał Maciej Klisz, the operational head of the Polish military, during a press conference in Warsaw. The news agency PAP subsequently cited Deputy Defense Minister Cezary Tomczyk as stating that Poland's population was not immediately in danger.
At least three radar stations picked up the suspected drone, as mentioned by Klisz during a press conference. He asserted that it was fully controlled and could have been brought down if necessary. The drone breached Poland's border, near the Ukrainian city of Tcherkassy, at 6:43 AM. Tcherkassy has frequently been under attack by Russian aerial assaults, due to a power plant situated there. Nonetheless, it was inconclusive if the drone had exited Polish airspace at that point.
Prior to this, PAP reported that, given the close proximity of large-scale Russian air raids to Poland's border, the Polish military had sent out interceptor jets. According to sources, planes from allied nations were also part of this operation.

The incident sparked concerns about potential escalation, as Russia has a history of using aerial assaults in its war against Ukraine. Despite the drone's incursion into Polish territory, Polish authorities were cautious not to escalate the situation, choosing not to engage with the aircraft immediately.
