campaign - Peace and controlled migration are central themes for BSW

Peace and controlled Migration are the central themes in the Landtag election campaign of the BSW in Saxony. "We are the only party that really stands for peace," said Sabine Zimmermann, Chairwoman of the BSW Saxony, at the presentation of the campaign in Frankenberg. This is the most important issue that people on the street are talking about.

The BSW condemns the populist war of Russia against Ukraine, but calls for an immediate ceasefire and peace negotiations without conditions, added Co-Chairman Jörg Scheibe. In the context of a Saxon Bundesrat initiative, they want to engage themselves.

The BSW opposes racist and xenophobic currents, said Zimmermann. Instead, there should be controlled migration. The integration has been neglected in recent years, it should take place in such a way that people find their place in society. For this, the BSW demands German tests for children from the age of three. For rejected and deportation-required asylum applicants, it should no longer be about money but only about benefits.

In addition, the BSW focuses on the topics of Health, Economy and Education in its campaign. The governments have lost touch with their people, many feel that nothing is being done for them, for example in the areas of old-age poverty, health care and education, said Zimmermann. Their party wants to fill the gap that is not covered by other parties.

"We are running to achieve the best possible result," said Zimmermann. If necessary, their party will be available for government participation, but "it is important that something changes with us." The BSW is not a majority-forming party. "We will not pull the strings," added Scheibe. The BSW wants to implement as many issues as possible.

  1. Sabine Zimmermann, the Chairwoman of the BSW Saxony, highlighted the importance of controlled migration during the Frankenberg election campaign.
  2. The Back Stage Workers of the BSW in Saxony are actively involved in the State election campaign, ensuring smooth operations behind the scenes.
  3. The BSW, in its election campaign in Saxony, has emphasized its stance against the populist actions of Russia in Ukraine, calling for an immediate ceasefire and peace negotiations.
  4. Sabine Zimmermann highlighted the neglected aspect of integration in recent years and emphasized the need for German language tests for children as young as three during the campaign in Saxony.
  5. In addition to peace and migration, the BSW Saxony's election campaign also focuses on key issues such as Health, Economy, and Education, aiming to fill the gap left by other parties.
  6. The BSW's election campaign in Saxony also includes a strong stand on migration policies, advocating for benefits instead of money for rejected and deportation-required asylum applicants, promoting a humane approach to the issue.
