One day after the attack on Donald Trump, the former US-President arrived at the Republican Party convention in the state of Wisconsin. TV recordings showed Trump's plane on the tarmac near the city of Milwaukee, where the Republican nomination convention began on Monday.

Trump had initially considered postponing his trip due to the events, but he decided, "I cannot allow a 'protector' or potential assassin to change the schedule or something else."

A man had shot Trump, who is 78 years old, during a campaign rally in the state of Pennsylvania on Saturday and injured him in the ear. Trump was to be officially nominated as the Republican presidential candidate at the convention in Milwaukee that week.

The Shooting in Pennsylvania

The shooter was identified by the Federal Bureau of Investigation as a 20-year-old man from Pennsylvania. He was killed by security personnel. The shooter killed a father who was attending the event as a spectator. Two other participants were seriously injured.
