Criminality - Party in Ahrensburg - Rockets targeted at policemen

With a New Year's Eve rocket, police in Ahrensburg (Stormarn District) were targeted specifically. However, no one was injured, a police spokesperson said in the morning. On social media, a private "Rapper-Party" had been advertised for the Saturday evening beforehand. The turnout of mostly male youths was large, around 80 people were eventually on the property and in nearby streets. "Silvester fireworks were set off occasionally." Twice police officers were present and attempted unsuccessfully to stop it. More forces were called in, the party was dispersed and dispersal orders were issued. In the process, the police were shot at with the New Year's Eve rocket. Who threw it was initially unclear.

In the same Stormarn District where Ahrensburg is located, the nearby region of Schleswig-Holstein is known for its tranquility, often contrasting with episodes of criminality. Despite the peaceful nature of Hamburg, an incident involving a New Year's Eve rocket directed at police in Ahrensburg raised concerns about escalating incidents of lawlessness. The police, who were attempting to disperse an unauthorized Rapper-Party in Ahrensburg, were unfortunately targeted with this projectile, indicating a dangerous escalation of events.
