Festival - Parookaville sold out for the eighth time
The "Parookaville" music festival at the airport in Weeze on the Lower Rhine is less than a week before its start officially sold out. The organizer expects 225,000 female visitors and males according to their own statements from Friday to Sunday. Thus, the festival is also sold out for its eighth edition, as has been the case every year since its start in 2015.
In the fictional city "Parookaville", more than 300 DJs and musicians perform over the Weekend, including well-known artists such as the Dutch Hardwell and the band Scooter with H.P. Baxxter ("Hyper, Hyper"), the Hamburg DJ Felix Jaehn, Robin Schulz and Armin van Buuren. The event is one of the major electronic festivals in Germany.
The first campers are welcomed this year already on a Wednesday and party in the evening with up to 20,000 people. On Thursday, a large pre-party for all 50,000 campers takes place. Anyone looking for a ticket is advised by the organizer to only use the official resale shop of the festival. Buying from ticket exchange platforms or classifieds portals is strongly discouraged.
27 hours Livestream from five stages
For all those who cannot be there live, the three-day festival offers a livestream for the third time. A total of 27 hours - nine hours per day - are transmitted. More than 75 acts from five different stages are transmitted. The "Parookaville" festival is transmitted on YouTube, as well as partially on TikTok and Facebook.
