Palestinians: At least 30 dead in Israeli attacks in Gaza Strip

In new Israeli attacks in the Gaza Strip, at least 30 Palestinians have been killed according to representatives of the local health authority. Among the fatalities were a journalist, his wife, and two children, who were reportedly killed during an attack on their house in the northern Gaza Strip, a doctor stated. The Israeli military reportedly bombed several areas on Saturday. Additionally, they allegedly advanced further into Rafah in the south with tanks. In Al-Nuseirat in the center of the Gaza Strip, several people were injured in an air strike on a multi-story building, including two local journalists, according to rescue services.

Residents of Rafah reported heavy fighting between Israeli soldiers and Hamas extremists. The Israeli army announced that they would continue their operations against Hamas fighters in Rafah and had also attacked Hamas positions in the center of the Gaza Strip. The army confirmed their accusation that Hamas was misusing humanitarian and civilian structures for military purposes. In Rafah, Israel aims to crush the last major combat formations of Hamas.
