Illegality or wrongdoing - Over 500,000 dollars' worth of jewelry stolen in a robbery in Rome.

A daring jewelry theft took place in Rome on Sunday night, with unknown burglars making away with over half a million euros worth of loot. The criminals, believed to be at least three in number, broke into a Bulgari store at Via Condotti - one of the city's most fashionable shopping streets near the Spanish Steps. There are two possible entry points being considered: through a neighboring house or via the sewers.

The security alarm went off around midnight yet, surprisingly, the burglars had managed to flee before the police arrived. The surveillance cameras are being reviewed in a bid to get more information on this case. While initial signs point to masked and gloved perpetrators, the actual value of stolen goods is projected to be at least 500,000 euros, though it could be significantly higher.
