Oprah Winfrey is set to feature in the Democratic National Committee's program on Wednesday evening.
Oprah is set to contribute in the build-up to Governor Tim Walz of Minnesota accepting his Democratic vice presidential nomination, as suggested by various insiders with insight into the night's lineup.
CNN attempted to reach out to reps from Oprah and the DNC for clarification.
The DNC in Chicago is currently the most sought-after event, having hosted Lil Jon last night, and projected performances from Stevie Wonder, John Legend, Maren Morris, and Pink closing off the week.
In the year 2020, Oprah publicly voiced her support for President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris, praising Harris as the first woman and the first woman of color to assume the VP role.
