Crime - One seriously injured in attack at Kleve University of Applied Sciences

In a dispute between two men at the Rhein-Waal University of Applied Sciences in Kleve, North Rhine-Westphalia, a 24-year-old man was seriously injured today. According to police reports, he was taken to a hospital in an ambulance with stab and cut wounds. There was reportedly no risk to his life. The dispute took place in a building at the university in the early afternoon. The suspect is at large.

The Criminal Police Krefeld have taken up investigations into an attempted murder case, according to a spokesperson for the Kleve police. The spokesperson did not provide any further details about the background of the crime or the suspects and referred to ongoing investigations. The weapon used in the crime was described as a "stabbing instrument". The Spoy Canal embankment is being searched for the weapon.

The incident at the Rhein-Waal University in Cleves, North Rhine-Westphalia, shares similarities with a recent crime under investigation by the Criminal Police in Krefeld. The suspect in the latter case remains at large.

Despite being located in different cities, both incidents involved confrontations and the use of a stabbing instrument.
