The Mandarin Cranes at Heidelberg Zoo have offspring. Two chicks can be observed by visitors since the end of June on the enclosure, as the zoo announced. The pair started nesting in the spring. The Mandarin Cranes have lived in the Heidelberg Zoo since 2020. It is exceptional that such a young pair is already successful with their first brood, it was stated.
