Officials document numerous wildfire outbreaks in Canada.

Canada is once more under threat from wildfires, as per authorities' reports. A staggering 33,000 hectares have been impacted, leading to the closure of a prominent national park.

Currently, there are approximately 800 wildfires burning across Canada, with 223 of them out of control, as per the Canadian Interagency Forest Fire Centre (CIFFC). Even the popular Jasper National Park in the western region of the country hasn't escaped the wrath of these flames, battling them for weeks now.

As a result of the wildfire activity, the Canadian Rockies' national park is temporarily off-limits to tourists, as mentioned on their official website. All camping bookings till the 3rd of September have been terminated. The fires have wreaked havoc over an area of 33,000 hectares. After a mandatory evacuation, residents were able to return to Jasper town last Friday, as reported by the Canadian Press. It's been estimated that nearly a third of the urban infrastructure has been wiped out by these fires. Photos revealed entire neighborhoods turned into ashes, showing house ruins, charred cars, and burnt trees. "It's like being in the midst of an apocalypse or a war zone," a resident remarked.

Last year, Canada suffered from wildfires on a massive scale, unprecedented in history. Experts caution that fires are increasing in frequency and severity due to climate change.

The Canadian Interagency Forest Fire Centre continues to report over 800 wildfires burning across the country, with many of them out of control. The intensifying flames have consumed over 33,000 hectares, including parts of the famous Jasper National Park, creating a landscape of ruins and ashes.
