Numerous railways in Bavaria remain shut down.
Because of the floods and storm damage, a bunch of train routes in Bavaria won't be working on Wednesday. The high-speed ICE trains between Donauwörth and Augsburg, and between Nuremberg and Würzburg, are shut down, the railway company revealed in the morning.
The overworked long-distance route between Ulm and Augsburg is only partially available. This means some trains ended earlier, and others were delayed by approximately 45 minutes.
The Eurocity Express route from Munich to Zurich got interrupted on Wednesday, between Lindau and the state capital of Bavaria. Additionally, the Intercity line from Ulm to Kempten and Oberstdorf in the Allgäu was initially paused. In Bavaria's local trains, passengers had to deal with numerous train failures and major delays on Wednesday - among other setbacks, due to landslides and flooded tracks.
