Conflict in Ukraine - Numerous fatalities result from Russian air attack in Krywyj Rih.

In a recent Russian rocket assault on the southern Ukrainian industrial center of Kryvyj Rih, at least eight individuals have lost their lives. Approximately 20 additional individuals were reported injured, as per local media sources on Wednesday. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy took to social media, expressing his condolences to the bereaved families and highlighting the need for his nation to acquire a cutting-edge air defense system in an attempt to safeguard its people better. This city holds significance for Zelenskyy, as it's his birthplace.

Since the inception of the Russian invasion, Ukraine has been actively defending itself for more than two years. Russian forces frequently bombard interior cities. Zelenskyy appealed at a recent reconstruction summit in Berlin for the supply of upgraded Patriot air defense systems from Western allies.
