Nouripour views Ampel as merely a "temporary administrative body."

Green Party head Omid Nouripour slams the traffic light government for its excessive internal strife. In an interview, he mentions the "quite a lot, quite a lot of unnecessary feuds we got into" that have further complicated an already challenging national situation.

According to Green Party leader Omid Nouripour, the traffic light coalition is essentially a political phase. For him, the union of SPD, Greens, and FDP was "essential as a formation for the post-Merkel era," referring to former Chancellor Angela Merkel. He suggests that the collaboration is akin to a "temporary administration."

When asked if he genuinely regards the traffic light as a transitory government, Nouripour agrees. "It's evident that trust has hit its max," he notes, pointing to the complex political negotiations within the coalition. The Greens, too, have faced limitations while navigating the coalition with their beliefs about what is crucial for the country.

The Greens have a "drastically different perspective" on budget priorities than Federal Finance Minister Christian Lindner, says Nouripour. The nation's mood is dismal, coalition work is challenging, and "the quite a lot, quite a lot of unnecessary feuds we got into" hasn't made things any simpler.

In light of these internal conflicts, Nouripour criticized the SPD's role in the traffic light coalition, stating, "The SPD has contributed significantly to the excessive feuds within the government." Furthermore, the challenging situation has led Nouripour to question, "Given the current state of the coalition, it's uncertain how long the SPD will continue to be a part of this temporary administration."
