Citizens' Assembly - Nockemann is the AfD candidate for the citizens' election in 2025

The AfD Hamburg has chosen Dirk Nockemann (66) as the lead candidate for the Municipal Assembly Election 2025. At the so-called nomination assembly on Saturday in the Bürgersaal Wandsbek, the current AfD-faction leader and state chairman received 94% of the votes, according to the party's announcement. Krzysztof Walczak is in second place on the state list, followed by Alexander Wolf, Marco Schulz, Thomas Reich, Eugen Seiler, Benjamin Mennerich, and Peggy Heitmann. The Municipal Assembly Election program will be debated and adopted at a state party convention on this Sunday. The next election is expected to take place on March 2, 2025.
