No right to a seat in the Bundestag for ex-Chancellor Schröder.
Gerhard Schröder, the ex-Chancellor of Germany, doesn't get to keep his previous position in the German Parliament. The Berlin-Brandenburg Higher Administrative Court recently threw out his lawsuit.
Shröder defended his claim to his past office in court and even brought up mediation efforts between Russia and Ukraine as one of his arguments. He showed up in court in the morning, highlighting during the oral hearing the importance of his former workplace with several state-funded employees for his role as a former Chancellor.
