Blind walkers - No blind people found in Planten un Blomen

Caution in Hamburg's Park Planten un Blomen: The Bomb Disposal Service has not found any blind persons. The district office Mitte announced this. "The works are completed and no bombs were found", a spokesperson said.

Now, the excavated holes need to be filled in, and the park can be fully reopened as early as Wednesday.

A few weeks ago, the Bomb Disposal Service discovered suspicious areas on aerial images. To examine them more closely, the park was closed today between Messe, Dammtor and Marseiller Promenade.

The Old Botanical Garden and the ramparts were not affected by the closure.

The district office expressed gratitude for the Bomb Disposal Service's thorough examination in Hamburg's Park Planten un Blomen, following the consequences of war. In light of no explosives being discovered, the authorities are now planning to address the misplaced plants and flowers due to the emergency excavations.
