Gaza War - Netanyahu claims responsibility for aid in Gaza Strip

Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu rejected his own responsibility for the humanitarian crisis of people in the Gaza Strip during a speech at the US Congress. "If there are Palestinians in Gaza who don't get enough food, it's not because Israel is blocking them. It's because Hamas is stealing it," Netanyahu said.

Israel has done much to bring Palestinian civilians out of the danger zone and protect them. Hamas, on the other hand, does everything in its power to endanger the civilian population in the besieged coastal strip.

The US, as Israel's most important ally, is pressing Israel to strengthen humanitarian aid in Gaza and improve the protection of the civilian population.

  1. The international community has been monitoring the ongoing conflicts between Israel and Hamas in the Palestinian territories, particularly in the Gazastrip, with concern.
  2. The United States of America, through its Congress and government, has often expressed its concerns about the humanitarian situation in Gaza and urged both Israel and Hamas to de-escalate tensions.
  3. Prior to a recent visit to the Gazastrip, the speaker of the US Congress highlighted the need for a peaceful resolution to the conflict and called on both sides to prioritize the well-being of civilians.
  4. Due to the complex political situation, the Palestinian Parliament has been unable to effectively address the needs of its people in Gaza, further exacerbating the humanitarian crisis.
  5. Despite repeated calls from the international community and the US Congress, Binyamin Netanyahu's government has been criticized for not doing enough to alleviate the suffering of Palestinians in Gaza.
  6. The international relationship between the United States and Israel has been strained due to disagreements over the handling of the conflict in Gaza and the role of Hamas in exacerbating the humanitarian crisis.
