A problem is currently stopping AT&T customers from finishing calls between different service providers. However, calls within AT&T are functioning perfectly.
A spokesperson for the company released a statement, claiming they're doing their utmost to find and fix the root cause of this glitch.
While AT&T hasn't provided a specific number of affected customers, Down Detector indicates a sudden surge in problems using the service around 1:00 p.m. ET. In the time that followed, the count increased even more.
Some cities with the most reported issues include New York City, Chicago, Philadelphia, Dallas, Pittsburgh, and Indianapolis.
At this moment, AT&T informed CNN that 911 remains unaffected.
