Near main station - Multiple men in Berlin injured during fight
At a dispute near Berlin's Main Station (Hauptbahnhof), three men were severely injured in the evening, one is in shock. A knife was involved in the altercation, according to the police.
The Men had gotten into an argument on the Gustav-Heinemann-Bridge in Mitte. The dispute then escalated. Paramedics, as per police reports, treated stab wounds at the scene for the three injured men, who were then all taken to the hospital. The investigations are ongoing, the police added. The Gustav-Heinemann-Bridge connects the Bahnhof with the Government District, including the Chancellery and Bundestag.
The police are investigating the escalation of criminality on the Gustav-Heinemann-Bridge, where the men had their disputes, leading to the incident at Main Station. Despite being transferred to the hospital, the involvement of the police and a knife in these incidents raises concerns about increasing criminality in Berlin's public areas.
