After a blaze engulfed a Ferris wheel at the Highfield Festival in Leipzig, an arson expert has moved in. "The pro in question has been loitering on the festival grounds since the crack of dawn, probing for clues," a cops' spokesperson announced. The primary mystery now is how this incident, resulting in at least 23 casualties, took place. The fire site has been secured off, and criminal investigators are digging deep.

At approximately 9:00 PM on a Saturday night, one of the 24 Ferris wheel pods first ignited. The flames then seeped into a second pod. authorities are yet to pinpoint what went down during those tumultuous minutes. Based on police statements, at least 23 people were hurt - four of whom sustained burn wounds, one suffered from a fall, and the rest were hospitalized due to potential smoke inhalation.

By the first light of dawn post the blaze, police couldn't shed any light on the status of the injured, their ages or genders. The precise number of injured individuals is still under review, the spokesperson added.

The arson expert is working closely with the police to investigate the cause of the Ferris wheel fire. Despite the efforts of the police and criminal investigators, the exact trigger of the blaze remains elusive.
