Transportation difficulties - Multiple fatalities in train accident in Czech Republic.

In the Czech town of Pardubice, a passenger train ran into a freight train, causing four fatalities and multiple injuries, says a spokesperson for the rescue teams on public TV. An official from the railway fire brigade added that more than a dozen people suffered injuries, some of them severely. A horde of emergency responders, like firefighters, paramedics, physicians, and a rescue helicopter, rushed to the scene, located approximately 100 kilometers east of Prague.

Pictures show that one of the carriages of the passenger train, sitting right behind the locomotive, popped off the tracks and took a beating. The train was a night express operated by the private railway company Regiojet, journeying from Prague to Kosice, Slovakia. Czech Interior Minister Vit Rakusan and Transport Minister Martin Kupka are en route to the accident scene, Rakusan posted on the network X.
