Deluge Overwhelms Areas - More train cancellations on various lines in southern Germany.

As a result of the ongoing flood situation in Baden-Württemberg and Bavaria, German railway company Deutsche Bahn is still experiencing train disruptions on several local and long-distance routes. The affected lines include the one connecting Stuttgart, Ulm, Augsburg, and Munich, the route from Nuremberg, Donauwörth, Augsburg to Munich, the stretch between Buchloe and Memmingen, and the entire Ulm-Memmingen-Kempten route. This means travel to Munich from the west and north is currently impossible.

To ease the situation for passengers, Deutsche Bahn has extended their lenient ticket policy until Tuesday. Tickets purchased between Sunday and Tuesday for the affected routes can be used at a later time, and if the same destination is chosen, they can be used on a different route as well. Additionally, the railway anticipates high traffic on all trains in the area and warns that local transportation in Bavaria is also heavily impacted. Nevertheless, the railway advises against taking train journeys to South Germany.

Unexplained malfunctions and delays are happening on these trains: Munich to Nuremberg, Erfurt to Berlin, Karlsruhe to Stuttgart to Ulm, Augsburg to Munich, Stuttgart to Mannheim to Frankfurt(M), Munich to Lindau to Bregenz to Zurich, Karlsruhe to Stuttgart to Crailsheim to Nuremberg, and Augsburg to Kempten(Allgäu) to Oberstdorf. Furthermore, there's also disruption on the Nuremberg to Würzburg line.
