Storm - More than 30 cases due to storms in Freiburg

Due to a storm, the fire department was called out to 35 incidents in the Freiburg city area on Monday evening. The main issues were fallen branches and uprooted trees, according to a spokesperson. No people were reported injured. In one case, a fallen tree blocked a train of the Breisgau S-Bahn. Forty-eight people were evacuated from the train and taken to the planned stations with taxis.

The unfavorable weather conditions in Freiburg resulted in numerous tree-related incidents, requiring the Fire department's intervention beyond their usual duties in Baden-Württemberg. Residents of Breisgau, particularly those living in Freiburg im Breisgau, experienced this turbulent weather firsthand in their city area.
