New launch: Citroen e-Berlingo - More route

The new front gives the Berlingo a more modern and contemporary look in line with the new Citroen design language. The standard equipment and infotainment have also been upgraded and a new battery pack ensures that the 50 kWh battery now lasts for up to 320 kilometers before the family van from France has to go back to the charging station. However, its great strength remains its versatility, as the van is in a class of its own. The new dashboard includes a ten-inch touchscreen display and a large additional glove compartment, which is made possible by the installation of the front passenger airbag in the roof. In addition to a storage compartment that can be used for inductive charging of smartphones, the Citroen Berlingo is equipped with two additional USB ports.

The new Berlingo is still available in two lengths of 4.40 and 4.75 meters. The individual rear seats can either be moved or folded down, with the long version offering up to seven seats as an option. With the front passenger seat folded down, there is a maximum loading length of 2.70 or 3.05 meters for transporting long items. The Citroen Berlingo has a total of 27 stowage compartments with a total volume of up to 186 liters. Depending on the position of the seats, the load volume is between 775 and 4,000 liters.

Unlike other models in the Stellantis Group, the Citroen e-Berlingo does not have the more powerful electric motor with 115 kW / 156 hp. Although it has the new battery pack with the increased range, it is still powered by the familiar electric motor on the front axle with 100 kW / 136 hp. The driver can positively influence the maximum range of the French vehicle with the regenerative braking system by varying it in three stages via new paddle shifters behind the steering wheel in addition to the individual driving modes. The e-Berlingo is equipped with a 7.4 kW on-board charger, which can optionally be increased to a three-phase charger with eleven kilowatts and a heat pump. This reduces the charging time from 7.5 to five hours. However, even after the revision, the maximum charging speed of 100 kW at a fast-charging station remains the same.
