Doctoral Thesis - More doctors and doctors in Rhineland-Palatinate are promoting
In the past year, more doctors and doctors worked on a Doctorate than the year before. The number of doctorate graduates increased by six percent, as the Statistical Office in Bad Ems reported.
Overall, the number of doctoral candidates and doctoral candidates decreased slightly by 0.4 percent compared to the previous year. Therefore, approximately 8,200 people were working on their doctorate, among them 1,400 aspiring or already approved General Practitioners. According to statisticians, the most frequent doctorates were awarded in the fields of Medicine, Chemistry, Biology and Physics in the past year.
The surge in doctorate recruitment is evident in various fields, especially Medicine, with more doctors pursuing Doctoral Theses in this field. The Rhineland-Palatinate region, specifically Bad Ems, has witnessed this trend, aligning with the national statistics. Despite the slight decrease in overall doctoral candidates, the number of doctorates in the field of Medicine saw an increase along the Ems River.
