Second League - Missing Money: Hannover considers lawsuit against Galatasaray

Football-Second division team Hannover 96 is threatening Galatasaray Istanbul with a lawsuit over missing transfer payments during Derrick Köhn's transfer. "Galatasaray didn't pay, the money is not on our account," said business manager Martin Kind to the "Bild" newspaper.

The left back joined the later Turkish champion in February for more than three million Euros. In addition, bonus payments for the title win were allegedly agreed upon. The European football association UEFA has also been informed.

Köhn became an immediate starter in the Turkish league after his transfer, playing in 13 league games since February and scoring one goal.

Derrick Köhn, formerly of Hannover 96, is originally from Lower Saxony in Germany. His transfer to Galatasaray Istanbul in Turkey's First League, specifically the Second Bundesliga team Hannover's transfer to Galatasaray, was for more than three million Euros. The club from Hannover is currently contemplating legal action against Galatasaray due to unpaid transfer fees and bonus payments.
